California Disability Community Advocacy Conference

Join Inclusive Sol for the “DisCo at the Capitol,” an event designed to ignite your passion, expand your knowledge, and empower you to become a fierce advocate for Californians with disabilities and their families.
It’s California’s most prominent “in-person” event for the disability rights movement. The “DisCo at the Capitol: California Disability Community Advocacy Day” inspires, educates, and empowers attendees to become advocates for Californians with disabilities and their families. The two-day event in Sacramento, CA is presented by The Arc of California, Easterseals, and United Cerebral Palsy, and will be free for individuals with disabilities, their caregivers and support team to attend Day 2 thanks to the generosity of sponsors.
It features well-known speakers who are trailblazers for promoting policies that improve the disability system of services, enabling Californians with disabilities to live inclusively in their communities. Attendees include government officials, changemakers within the disability community, self-advocates, family members, support professionals, educators, and more.

Empowering Voices: Navigating Life with Cerebral Palsy and Advocating for Inclusion
The Los Angeles County Commission on Disabilities in collaboration with the Los Angeles County Aging & Disabilities Department, will host an inspiring and empowering conversation with three remarkable leaders in the disability community: Matthew Caleb Fernandez, Kathleen Barajas, and Dr. Helen Tran. This one-hour webinar moderated by Reena De Asis from Inclusive Sol will explore the realities of living with cerebral palsy, overcoming barriers, and advocating for a more inclusive society.

Cerebral Palsy Meet & Greet

In honor of March as Cerebral Palsy Awareness Month, we invite families and individuals with cerebral palsy to join us at the Abilities Expo on March 9. Our meeting spot will be after the Advocating for Access workshop at 3:45 p.m. to connect, share experiences, and build community.
Since the expo ends at 4:00 p.m., depending on the turnout, we’ll most likely move our meet-and-greet outside the hall. Wear green so we can easily spot you. Bring your cards and flyers, and get ready to share your social handles. You deserve the support of a community!

My PlayClub Inclusive Play Date at the Park! – Westwood Wonderland

Wanna play together? My PlayClub is a FREE community outreach program that brings together kids of ALL abilities for a fun playdate at our inclusive playgrounds. They provide crafts, temp tattoos, stories, and snacks. Plus, they often have special guests and activities. My PlayClub meets every other month at a different playground in Los Angeles.
